Cauliflower Pakoda Ingredients 1 Cauliflower cut into small flowrets 1/2 tsp Ginger and 1 tbsp Dhania (ground together) Salt to taste 1 Onion and 3 Chillies cut finely Garam Masala/Chilli powder-1/2 tsp Oil for frying Besan-2 cups Method Mix everything and marinade cauliflower in it for 1/2 an hour. Fry in oil. Serve with Ketchup.

hi Anupama ji, here comes kalakhand Kalakand (Milk Burfi) 2 litres milk 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar chopped nuts to decorate (pista, almonds) silver foil (optional) 1/2 tsp citric acid dissolved in 1/2 cup water. 25 Method Boil half the milk and add the citric solution as it comes to boil Switch off gas. Once the chenna settles sieve through muslin cloth, press out excess water, take in a plate and press down. Do not knead. Put the remaining milk in a heavy pan and boil to half. Add the chenna and boil till the mixture thickens, stirring continuously. Add the sugar and continue to cook, stirring all the while till softly thickens in a lump. Set in a tray, apply silver foil and sprinkle the chopped nuts.

We had enough of snake guards, just a little change of item here, for samosa lovers (exclusive) Ingredients for cover 1 cup white flour ie.maida 1 tbsp heaped semolina ie.rava 1 tbsp oil salt for taste Ingredients for stuffing 2 boiled potatoes ¼ cup frozen green peas or fresh boiled green peas 3 pinches of clove powder 1 pinch or cinamom powder ½ cup cilantro leaves ie.corriender leaves chopped ½ tsp amchur is optional salt for taste oil for seasoning ie.tadka oil for deep frying Mix all the ingredients of cover and make a dough like that for puris. Make lemon size balls and roll them like phulkas with the help of little flour and roast them slightly on a griddle or a tava. Don’t roast too much like rotis. when all are done cut them exactly in the center to make two semi circles. Keep aside. Stick the edges of somosa with flour paste. Take little oil in a pan. Mash the potatoes coarsely and then add the spices and the green peas, salt etc. then the cilantro. Use this as the stuffing for the samosa. Courtesy:A friend.
