Step (1):
1st weighin shud be 6-6
We C one side goin down as ONE ball iz odd in weight. One side meanz 6 balls...
Step (2):
2nd Weighin wud be 3-3 of thoze 6 balls...
Here again the same thng happenz...
Step (3):
(Outta THREE balls,) 3rd weighin wud be 1-1 of which ONE ball may be odd in weight(i.e., Weighty than the other). If both the ballz R of same weight(meanz, the balance iz same on both sides) then the ball which waz not weighed getz the "PRIZE MONEY"...LOLz

Here is a question from my packet.
There are 12 similar balls in a basket and one among them is odd by weight. By using "common balance" only thrice get the odd ball and oddness of it out.
