| oh ok, to get even heads, right!
then what? 2nd step seems to be a tricky one!
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 8, Oct 2004 11:49:41 PM IST yaa thats right......by odd number of flippings,i meant flipping odd number of coins obviously.
Posted by: Raj Sekhar At: 8, Oct 2004 11:39:34 PM IST You just have to flip once or dont flip, flipping odd number of times is as good as flipping once !
This is not the solution, just throwing some ideas to see if somebody can give me a hand here! :-)
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 8, Oct 2004 11:37:06 PM IST yaa..Thats ok.....u have to do odd number of flippings...thats right:)
Posted by: Raj Sekhar At: 8, Oct 2004 11:24:58 PM IST First you gotta get the no. of heads even!
So I think flipping any one coin will yield 8H/4T or 6H/6T !

Posted by: Raj Sekhar At: 8, Oct 2004 8:38:04 PM IST already some question is posted here priyzz
There are 12 coins on the table of which 7 shows heads and 5 shows tails
You are blindfolded and you are kept near the table.....you can flip as many coins as many times as you wish.....w
What you have to do is to divide the coins in two groups such that each group contains same number of heads.....
both the group need not contain same number of coins (i.e.) need not be 6 coins in each group....
:)
