Here goez the answer...
Actually U don nee2 flip the coins Coz U know that there R coins that count to 7 R HEADS & coins 5 bein TAILS...
Now as U said, we can make 3 grpz as 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 which all count to 12 Coins of 3 grpz...Likewise we can make several wayz of grpz...Like 6-6 etc...etc...
Am I right...???

divide the coins into two groups of 6. Since u r blind-folded, just feel the coins surface. Coins that show head will feel different from the ones that show tail on the surface. So u keep flipping the coins on either sides till all of them feel the same when u rub ur hand on them!!

ok,one from me :
There are 12 coins on the table of which 7 shows heads and 5 shows tails
You are blindfolded and you are kept near the table.....you can flip as many coins as many times as you wish.....w
What you have to do is to divide the coins in two groups such that each group contains same number of heads.....
both the group need not contain same number of coins (i.e.) need not be 6 coins in each group....

i proceeded like this :
original cheque : x dollars and y cents
100y + x - 50 = 3(100x +y)
==> 97y = 299x + 50
here....lies...how could u solve the above equation....
(100-3)y = (300-1)x + 50
y is approximately thrice of x
so,for x = 1 and y = 8
the difference between 299x and 97 y is (50 +8)
for increment of "1" in x we have a difference of "8(+50)
so,for what increment u will have a difference will be integral multiple of 97 i.e. 97,195,so on
we can easily see
(194-50) / 8 =18
hence x = 18
and y wll be approx 54 + 2
that 2 = 194/97
