The mind will be mostly influenced by the environment in which one grows up.The best way to mend the mind is to develop a strong will for change to better.

How far it's true I don't know. The curiosity should not be suppresed before the interest disappears. Behavior one such thing which need to be analyzed in the direction of the behavioral concept presented by the expertize. EX: If a girl rejects a love offer then he will take revenge by pouring acid on her face. If any one's behavior is at troublesome or Non-acceptable for the soceity it can be analyzed at the same time our education system should take part of it.

Attitude is not a variable function; Where as skills such as: 1. Driving 2. Communication etc are the variables; Skills can be updated / improved as the techonology or civilization is contiuously changing. Knowledge can be gained by reading books, tours or visiting places, experience with others by training; Attitude, Skills and Knowledge are the basic inputs for behavioral of a person. If the input changes naturally his behavior changes. It's a continuous endless task.

Mind is the best friend when it's not in the control. Why some people use: 1. Mind Your Business 2. Mind your tongue We do some things some time without caring other's values. Education makes a basic difference; We force others to do some thing which west doesn't like at all. That's the reason they study some funny subjects during graduation which we feel not at all important. Ultimately it's the combination of attitude, knowledge and skill which represents an individual's behavior.

Nice article; Also comprahensive; I suppose the aim of this thread unaware; It can be presented in a effective way rather than reproducing; Main points can be specified along with day to day practical life observation; Have a simple target which you can reach ( first) than a big target ever made.

Happiness depends on what you can give, not on what you can get. In order to receive, one must first learn to give.

It is but natural for everyone to lose interest in some routine activity over a period of time and also become lazy to repeate certain acts. But when it comes to spirit (other than matter)the progress that is there in subtle levels prompts us not to discontinue the act for the sake of further improvement. Here comes the role of our will force which takes the driving seat once we realise the benefits of the system we practice.I also had similar experience and thankfully due to my trainer and co sadhak i could continue the practice to such an extent that i can not afford to stop it even for a while. You can visit www.shajmarg.org which gives entire details as well as information about other links for your benefit. This site was created by a disciple of the founder of this wonderful system.

I am a little sceptical about following a certain system of meditation.I did try some systems before and have no complaints about any of them but sticking to a regular routine for a long time ( in fact lifetime) is difficult. Either I lose interest or start doubting the system. I start with great amount of enthusiasm only to lose it all in a few days. I will try this system as well. Please give me details ( website, books, branches etc in US).Thanks. How can we inculcate good qualities( truthfulness, honesty, humbleness, sincerity ..) in ourselves in our daily life and activities outside of any particular system? With respects, seeker
