Yes. To some extent after 1980...the attitude of naxalism deviated....

Some naxalites might have surrendered...some are encountered...but no end to this issue till now. why?
The naxalites, in many cases, not only school drop outs, but discontinued their studies (B.Tech etc) also!

The crime committed by naxalites are somewhat different from the mentioned in this comment. The purpose also different. Some naxalites might have deviated from their attitude in perverted manner. But not all.
