| Just got an interesting mail from someone, asking me to name a few schools run by RSS that dont impose religion on people, if RSS is not hardcore Hindu organization

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public Schools, Colleges, Bhavan's College at Hyderabad, Vignyana Bharati institutions .. aren't they run by Pragnya Bharati and RSS?

Keen eye on Gold Accounting: what happened to balance 14.861 kgs?
The charge by Sankara Raman that 100 kgs of gold were imported to make a gold chariot for Kanchi Kamakshi deity. and only 35 kgs were used while the remaining went missing, was re-iterated by the police in the high court for probe.
Here are the facts.
Sri. Adi Sankarar Swarna Vimana Trust with registered office at VHS Campus, Chennai 600 113 was entrusted with the Gold cladding work of Sri Adi Sankarar Vimanam, Sri Kamakshi Ambal Vimanam and Simha Vahanam. The board of trustees of this trust comprised of eminent persons. The gold cladding work was done on copper sections by the conventional methods of beating gold strips into foils and pasting the gold foils over mercury base, heating and polishing. The entire gold plating work was completed and handed over to the authorities of Sri Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam, Kanchipuram as per the details given below.
The trust imported 85.31 kgs of Gold (and not 100 kgs as alleged) comprising of Gold bars 71.31 kgs, Biscuits 14.00 kgs.
This was used as follows:
1. Sri Adi Sankarar Vimanam 21.875 kgs
2. Sri Kamakshi Ambal Vimanam - upper portion 5.996 kgs
3. Sri Kamakshi Ambal Vimanam - lower portion 41.411 kgs
4. Sri Kamakshi Ambal Kavacham 7.495 kgs
5. Rajagopuram Kalasam 3.932 kgs
6. Simha Vahanam 4.430 kgs
Total 85.139 kgs
The balance gold of 171 gms has been duly accounted.
The full description of the various kanikkais together with the receipt numbers are recorded in the register maintained by the temple trust. These accounts have been verified by the HR&CE department of the government from time to time.

Feel the Pulse
The police claim of 900 pulse units for calls:
If it is a BSNL phone: 1 pulse unit = 3 minutes, therefore 2700 minutes - more than a day.
If it is a mobile with pulse unit = 1 minute: 900 pulse units = 900 minutes = 15 hours
If it is a BSNL mobile: with pulse rate of 15 secs: 900 pulse units = 225 minutes = ~4 hours
Do they police think that the public will simply swallow anything they dish out?

1. The photo of Shri. Jayandra Saraswathi Swamigal.
During her press release to Jaya TV, if anyone had watched the scenes carefully, would see the Photo of Shri. Jayandra Saraswathi Swamigal in her house.
Our question is, when a person has misbehaved with a lady, does that lady have his photo in her house ? (may be she would have forgot to remove that as she was more curious in making a sensational senseless statement and also Jaya TV didnt care to note this, as they were curious to get a sensational news as instructed by their Senseless Owner (madam)
2. Apology letter
Anuradha says Swamigal wrote a apology letter and send thro' a person and it was taken back by that person latter.
Our question is, does a person of his profile after having committed such an act (as alleged by her), will apologies that too in written.
When the letter was brought to her, she could have held that letter with her & immediately complained to police. Why she didn;t do so? Why she sent back the letter. This only doubts whether there was a letter of such kind as stated by her.
3. Personal apology :
She said that Swamiji subseqent to the letter, wants to personally apologies for the act and requested her to meet her.
Our question is, does any good charactered lady would go to meet the same person who misbehaved just to take apology.
4. VIP Lady
She stated that when she went to meet Swamiji to take his apology, there was a VIP lady, whom Swamiji was shouting.
Our question is, do you think a person of such status would take apology in front of 3rd person. ?

This is inbteresting .. a mail sent to the Kanchi Mutt by a person who attended that the concert at which Mr Balamurali Krishna refused to take the award ..

(There is an erroneous impression created by press reports that Sri Balamurali Krishna Rejected the Sri. Jayendra Saraswati National Eminence Award. On the contrary being a keen devotee of the Acharya he said that he would wait to receive the award from His Holiness himself. In view of his suggestion the occasion was converted a concert instead. The following mail from Mr. A. Seshan clarifies the situation!)
Subject: Disinformation of the media
Sir - I have seen the website kanchi-satya and also the full-page write-up of the Kanchi Mutt in the Mumbai edition of The Times of India today. They have been done well to disabuse the minds of the public of the canard being passed around by the media.
An instance of the disinformation campaign of the press is the following report on the first page under the "News Digest" column of The Times of India:
"Balamurali rejects award: Carnatic music doyen M Balamurali Krishna, a follower of the Kanchi seer, on Sunday refused to accept the Sri Jayendra Saraswati National Eminence Award in the absence of the pontiff who has been in judicial custody for about a month in connection with a murder case."
The report gives the reader the impression that the musician 'refused' to receive the award because it is tainted. I attended the music concert of his at the Shanmukhananda Fine Arts and Sangeetha Sabha on the 5th instant. He said that he had advised the organisers of the Award function to postpone it. It was a correct attitude on his part as it saved the organsiers of embarrassment. But there is a whale of a difference between what he said and what appears in the press with its overtones.
The only silver lining for believers in Mahaperiaval is that as one, who knew the past, the present and the future, he could not have chosen as his successor someone capable of committing a crime.
