I am with him regarding his Art.19 of the Indian Constitution, that is subjected to reasonable restrictions by the law enforcing authorities. As long as they are silent, he can do it. There are sections in I.P.C, C.P.C and Cr.P.C. to prosecute him, if he is writing seditious stuff. But nobody did it till date. why?

Let him express his opinions in his own way. We just can't stop him. I know number of people who listen to him. I can't name them here. Because they too are professors, former Vice Chancellors, and even ministers. In fact, he was among those people who met Rama Krishna at Majira Guest HOuse. We just watched the proceedings, he was active than us. It may be true, or may not be true, that he is buying the popularity, but without stuff in his argument, it's just not possible to do.

EvarO he..he annAru kAbaTTE kadA anta charcha jarigindi. adI manchidE ! Dr.Ilayaiah has every right to raise his voice. Despite his so called negative attitude to a particular religion, despite his stand on regionalism, he is the one who wrote to the press openly and dared to face the criticism. One should have guts to do so! Instead of living a silent life, at least, he has mind to raise his opposion for whatever he believes in. But many here dance among 'bits and bytes'. It's so easy to shout here (with fakes), but he with his own name, till date, entered to leading English Dailies in India. If what he writes is positive, he will be acclaimed by the people, if not, he will face the warth from the public (What I did against him in 2001).
