| Hello Sankar.
Malakoy, Even I have Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. I'm trying to get the Project Completion Certificate. In my company, without that, it doesn't cook very well. :)
Padma, KPMG is offering Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certifications in Hyderabad. I would suggest getting certifications from a reputed company just incase. :)

Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 1, Oct 2006 7:22:09 AM IST Those were the days when I was under the influence of VHP & Bajrangdal. I was being trained by a right-wing extremist group to attack a few groups of people (There was even a talk of training on sophisticated weapons like AK47, though I didnt take it up) and I was ready to risk my life for a cause. But I was quick enough to realize my mistake and walked out of the whole thing. I dont have any extremist thoughts anymore.
But those days were fun with life-threats from the other extreme groups, pro-naxal groups and counter threats .. hehe ... (I was a bachelor too - so death didnt mean much since I didnt have a wife emotionally dependent on me)

Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 1, Oct 2006 4:10:13 AM IST Well Crocy,
I underwent the greenbelt training program for a week when I was with iGate in India. Since it was an internal thingie that was free of cost .. then I got my blackbelt certification from Benchmark Sixsigma.
Getting a blackbelt ceritiifcate is easy in India - 4 days of training followed by an exam and it costs you Five hundred dollars (Yes US$500)- this follows an optional six sigma blackbelt project upon the completion of whoich you would receive another certificate of Project Completion
Let me know when you are visiting India next time - if you are interested, I can let those guys know about it.

Malak, Did you complete your Six Sigma Black Belt Project Yet? Are you planning on doing it or you don't care? :)
I used my influence in the company and managed myself to be a part of this Project and in the final stages of it. I might prepare the PowerPoint presentation and submit by end of Oct. This is where I stand. :)
