Hope you have noticed the Supreme Court's comments on 4th May 2005 against the Dowry.
I have posted a cover to the Supreme Court with cover letter requesting it to take it as PIL. I don't know, whether it's because of my letter (along with my articles) or somebody's the Supreme Court has reacted. Anyhow, I will take another chance soon. Thank Q for your mail. I need to have some discussion with you regarding various legal issues and certain acts. Of course, it's with your permission.

If dowry is converted into STRIDHANA property, then there is a danger of the bridegroom demanding money or property from the bride or her parents for the purpose of STRIDHANA property instead of in the name of dowry. Then the problem is again the same.People will start demanding and harassing the bride and her parents for STRIDHANA property only.
