Sai, it has to go to the otherside diagonal on a 3-d plane!
simple is 1+sqrt(2), but is there a lesser distance than that?

if it is root2 ...ig u can do it with it...thats well and good......because my answer is greater than root(2)
p.s. the bigger diagonal of a cube is not sqrt(2)..check it....the diagonal of a square is root(2) times the side of a square bu not in cube

hmmm....if the room is a cubical one of side 1 unit...whats the total minimum distance travelled by the insect?

just to pull this out
simple one :
There is an insect at one of the corners of a closed room.how much minimum distance it has to cover to go to other corner which is diagonally oppostite? the insect can only crawl,it cannot fly.
