One can not live isolation in this globalisation and liberalisation era. No question of Waqalat here. U just quoted the former Prime Minister of India. I don't think, he has taken waqalat of the US.

But what exactly is totally different. The US denited VISA to Mr.Modi, but Modi entered the US via Teleconference! A typical approach!

The denial of the VISA by the US to Mr.Modi is correct, even though the US has the history of double standards. If the US is a global terrorist and Mr.Modi has technically improved record in the Gujarat riots. This is the general perception not even in outside India, but in INdia too. Mr.Modi is politically important to the BJP, but not to the US. We may claim that ours is the biggest democracy in the world, but the US is the most powerful democracy older than India. Despite Indian Government's request to reconsider the denial of VISA, the US declared it will not. India need not worry over this issue, let the BJP and Mr.Modi realize where they are in the world. Immediately after the Gujarat riots then Prime Minister of India Mr.Vajyapayee said,"'How Can I show my face to the world', vindicated now.

Modi was not going on a diplomatic mission .. He was supposed to attend some gathering (read - predominantly Gujarati clan). So this is basically an issue related to the US, Modi and Gujarat ..let them solve it themselves.. why do we want to make it a national problem? (The same thing happened even in the case of Gujarat Riots when they were made a national issue.. whole of India cried for Modi's head whereas the local people gave him 2/3 majority! )
Let them decide their course of action, why do we we care?

Well... perhaps our Dubyaman thought (in Musharraf's case) creating disturbances in onez neighboring country is a lesser crime compared to the same in onez own country / state (as in the case of Modi) .. after all Mr President is adept at ruining others .. right?
