it is their personal taste and we can not obstruct them to leave their attachment with idols as long as they think and follow the dictates of their intellect and senses and ignore the facts.

Dear Krishna Deva Rayalu garu , Isnt the search for evidence of what we believe in education. When we are studying something we try to get both sides of the story analyse the facts available. So the search continues...

Dear NTvODu garu, I presented some evidence , ou asked for, in my previous posts. I also tried to show how man is inherantly. Anything evil is destined for punishment. I too was destined to hell if Jesus didnt save me. He died for my sins. His hands were pierced for my sinful works. His mouth was bruiced for my lies. His head wore the crown of thorns for my evil thoughts. His side was pierced for my evil heart. His feet were nailed for my sinful walk. He paid for all our sins on the cross, so that we dont have to suffer the punishment for our sins.

Dear VeVa garu, Water is cool. To make it cause a burn we need to put some work into it. So the inherent nature of water is to cool. To make it show a non-inherent nature we need to work towards heating it. eg: water cools but heated water or steam burns. Same way taking an example from thermo dynamics, heat flows from hotter body to cooler body. To make it flow from cool body to hot, we need to put some work into it. We need to push it from cooler body to hotter body. eg: refrigerator, taking out heat from inside cool area to outer hot area. So inherant nature of heat is to flow from hot to cool bodies. Now same way we humans need to practice to do good. Work towards good to be good. We dont even have to think twice about doing evil. But to do good we need practice. We need perseverance which comes from practice. We need morals which comes only when we practice. So the inherant nature of man is evil and to make ourselves do good we need consderable amount effort psychologically, physically. Since man is inherantly evil your point of mind being uncontrollable stands. But to control it totally is not within our power. It has to be changed totally, made new. Thats what Jesus says when he says to reach God one has to be born again. When Jesus comes into our lives he puts to death the old things and makes everything new. Its only in his power to give us new life. A life seen pure in the Eyes of Almighty God the Father. God the father sees us pure not because we did our atonement. But Jesus atoned for us by dying on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day. Thru his death we have atonement for our sins and his resurrection promises our resurrection. Now concerning scriptures. Bible is an inspired word of God, from which many religions like Islam, Zorastrianism draw their principles. The authenticity of Bible as the word of God is proved thru the prophecies God sent thru his prophets. Many of the prophesies were fulfilled to the jot and tittle and the records of secular history are available to vouch for their accuracy. I dont know how we can reconcile the difference in the key doctrines when we say that all scriptures draw from Upanishads et al.

Dear VeVa garu, I gave the dates and the non christian sources too. So Christs birth, death and resurrection are all recorded facts and there are manuscripts available. Manuscripts of very respectable historians like Flavius Josephus, Thallus et al. But we will all be missing the point if we ignore the point of God stepping into the human time space to offer himself as a sacrifices for all our sins. He brought us salvation, by paying the price for our sins on the cross with his life. And He will bring us resurrection because he conquered death in his resurrection.

Dear Budhimantudu, The exact date of Jesus birth is not available, But taking the events of the history into account we can calculate the Birth of Christ. King Herod, who tried to kill the Baby Jesus, died in 4 BC, a few months after Jesus' birth. So Jesus birth can be placed to in 4 BC mid winter. Notable historian Flavius Josephus ( who wrote Antiquities of the Jews) recorded Herod's death is occurred in the spring of 4 B.C. At the time of His baptism Jesus was 30 years old and it was the 15th year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, 27 AD. The birth of Christ is as significant as birth of anyother child without the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ because He died on the cross for all our sins. God the father loved us somuch that he didnt punished His Own Son instead of us. Coming to date of crucifiction, Bible date the crucifiction of Jesus as 33AD on the day of passover which falls in March-April. The exact date can be calculated using the Present day calendar and the Jewish calendar. Taking the extraordinary incidents like darkness for 3 hrs, at the time of Jesus death. This event it mentioned by Thallus (A non christian historian). He wrote about a miraculous darkness that covered the earth on Passover of that year. One mistake he made though is that he accounted it to a solar eclipse. But passover occurs on a full moon day so solar eclipse was impossible. There you have it. A miraculous event linking Bible and secular non christian history. Now though the dates give us the proof, the event that occured that day changed the world history. Christ died on the cross for all our sins and rose again on the 3rd day, giving assurance to all those who believe in him. History confirms the event and Bible explains the significance. Jesus brought us salvation that day. thanks for the question.

This is the problem with our present generation. It has been proved beyond doubt that God is simple and to attain God one need to practise simplicity and get subtility through constant practise of simple method which is very easy and simple but the simplicity of this method has become a veil to all who are used to complicated thinking and that is the real difficulty. All that is needed to do is sincerely pray to God to bring you to that state and that He is the only God and power to bring us up to that state .The main obstruction in us is our ego which can be brought to its minimum state and thus get nearer to God since the ego seperates us from God, and for that only this practise has been prescribed by my master way back in 1945.

i lost interest for simple reason that they appeared to be meaningless and childish to me without bringing any internal change in me and was searching suitable means to satisfy my hunger for a state of contentment and permanent state of calmness to keep myself in a happy and jovial mood in spite of adverse circumstances and my search lasted for five years before i encountered my guide who is a direct disciple of Sri Ramachandraji of shahjahanpur(up),the founder of the mission called sri Ramchandra mission.

Mrs.Anupama, i agree with you in that because the taste of spiritual experiences can not be explained and at the same time it is but natural for people who think with their intellect without putting their mind in heart having doubts about the efficacy of a system which is being followed by thousands of abhyasis all around the world. once i understood that it is meaningless on my part to convince people on such a simple task of feeling and experiencing instead of reading and understanding. iam reminded of a story my master used to tell. once a scholar came to a yogi with a bullock cartfull of his writings asking him to teach him the practise to realise god. the yogi asked the scholar to throw away all his scriptures into the river and then comeback to him for deeksha since as long as he remembers his works and research he can not get absorbed in spiritual experiences .of course the scholar though refused in the first instance later followed the yogi's instructins to get initiation. the moral is books are not useful (here our lengthy discussions)for spiritual experience and there is no need of books if you get oriented to spirituality.
