Is the situation conducive for a woman to walk into a police station and ledge a complaint?
Suppose, a woman does complain, who would guarentee that the soicety doesnt start questioning her conduct the very next day?
Isn't the responsibility fo the Govt as well as the society to create an environment that atleast allows her to complain about the crimes perpetrated on her?

Posted by: Mr. Vachaspathi V At: 29, Dec 2005 4:48:20 PM IST Government is lacking in providing the opportunities for women to dwelve in. They are lacking in the infrastructure that would keep a female safe outside the house. They have failed in letting equal measuring grounds for females at jobs etc. These are a few things that the government could have done better, but hasn't.

Mrs Shaloo, you are aware that people are doing a lot of stuff wrong in this world, yet you do nothing but sit on your rear-end and type idealistic cowcrap on a website. What about the duties as a citizen that you owe to the country? What about your responsibility that you are easily ignoring? *L*

sir
My intention is not show idealism or socialism .
But lack of ethics /morals or whatever which is good for the country leads to chaos.]
Before we people asking or exercising our rights first we should no at what level and how we degraded ourselves form the normal point.
And your qustion about my personal matter
As a mother i teach my child , and as a teacher I look for moral values in the students and as a citizen I never try to cross my rules.

Mahila garu,
I was not blaming the Govt for the crimes perpetrated on the women folk. I was merely saying that the Govtz just not keen on the long-term goals.
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 28, Dec 2005 5:12:56 PM IST why blame govt or politicians for the wrongs committed on women?its the ppl who should change their attitude towards women. Do u need a law to give freedom to your wife or daughter to pursue her dreams?
