The basic fact is whether, there has been violation of RBI rules and AP Protection of depositors act 1999.Ministry of Finance, RBI,IT dept are now investigating and in 2 weeks time the report will be out for all of us to draw conclusions.
Against this background , why should JPNarayan garu,who has good credentials , make comments in support of Mr.Ramoji rao.His comments are , I am afraid, a bundle of contradictions. He says
(a)There is no complaint so dont act.
(b)If you lodge a complaint with RBI , it becomes interference in RBI matters.
In fact , his statement is intereference with the process of Investigation and law.
Instead of making such comments ,sitting in Hyderabad, like an 'Arm Chair Politician',he should have contested Karimnagar election and tested his standidng and propagated his principles.
Why doesn’t he face people and stop being merely a darling of media and middle classes.
Why does he join the band wagon of petty politicians, who derived milege from Mr.Ramoji's media. And are looking for for the prospective coverage in future. Another statement like the one JPmade in support of Mr.Rao, he will lose many fans. I was one but not any more.
Coming to Mr.Ramoji rao, why did he knowlingly risk his standing as builder of Modern Telugu journalism and that monument of his achievement EENADU's credibility, the livelihood of lakhs of his Employees & News paper stringers, savings of lakhs of Telugus across the country, by violating a basic priciple of Finance

My opinion it is (a)over confidence (b)desperation. (c)Contempt for Politicians & bureacrats. I , pray that he shoudn’t pay a heavy price for his mistakes. I am a member Margadarsi chit fund and deposit holder in Margadarsi Financiers. Iam a stake holder not ring side observer.

They should return money to all those depositors who want to withdraw, as there has been violation of all rules and regulations in mobilisation of deposits. Why don't they atleast give a proper answer or atleste publish the opinion of the retired judges.If theyhave the assets they claim to have why don't they refund the deposits , to those who want it. How can we rely on the assurance of one individual.
In my case , I have deposited 2 lakhs in Basheerbagh branch and I was informed by the Development officer that I can withdraw prematuredly and that there wil be reduction in interest rate by 0.5%. Now when Iwant to withdraw the amount , he says rules do not permit.I have pleaded that I can wait for one or two months and whether I can withdraw at that time . The answer is a big NO. He wants me to take a loan on it at ahigher interest. Forgiving loan they have money for refunding our depoists they don't have money.Now where shold I go.The uncertainity is unbearable. I had planned my boy's education on this deposit.
My worry is , two weeks hence when the RBI and IT investigation is over , if the reports are damaging, the life line of the group, the Chit fund business is likely to face serious crisis. These busnesses run purely on good will and credibility.We have seen Sudarshan chits , Nagarjuna Finance collapse overnight.
Crooks & Criminals , in the guise of Politicians and businessmen , whether in Power , opposition or in Jail , are happy. It is the Middle class , who become victims to their mis adventures.
