| Bildunterschrift: Outer space is US territory - with a little bit leftover for its allies. That, at least, is the White House view on the future of space. News has just emerged that President Bush signed a new national space policy paper back in August. It constitutes the first comprehensive overhaul of US space policy for a decade. In a bid to secure American interests in space, Washington claims the right to deny enemy nations access to outer space in future. In addition, the 10-page document says that Washington rejects all proposed arms agreements that may restrict US movement in space. The paper says this freedom of action is as crucial to the United States as air and sea power.

Now analysts fear that the newly-formulated "National Space Policy" makes direct warfare in space a more likely prospect. Some even say that the paper is a precursor to the eventual stationing of American weapon systems in space. The US government has vehemently denied such intentions up to now, while at the same time moving to block a general ban on weapons in space over the past few years.

Almost all the population of Anantapur district have left their villages to make a living in Bangalore and other cities due to drought and poor rain fall. Same is the fate of other drought hit districts of AP.
If some one , be it YS ,CBN or who ever, is prioritising Irrigation sector, let us not belittle his efforts. Let us leave that job to people who are enjoying the benefits of Sir Cotton's good work and the Telugu media controlled by them.
