| Looks like I missed this while I was away. I pulled it up to post a puzzle but realized there is still an unsolved one here! :-)
Posted by: చంటోడు At: 4, Oct 2007 0:36:41 AM IST Here is a simple one:
I went to an expensive restaurant to have a cup of tea. after being served, I spotted a fly in the beverage and asked the waiter to take the cup away and get me another cup of tea.
The waiter apologized, obliged and did as I said. I tasted the Tea and screamed "This is the same cup of Tea that I have sent back!" - How did I know?
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 2, Aug 2007 10:50:52 PM IST They would never meet because this is a "Single" railroad track and both of them would stop the trains upon spotting eachother.
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 2, Aug 2007 10:43:04 PM IST Glenbrook and Springbrook are at each end of a railroad track 100 miles long. At exactly the same instant, one train leaves Glenbrook and one leaves Spingbrook. The engineer operating the train from Glenbrook averages 50 miles an hour, while the engineer on the train from Springbrook averages 40 mile an hour. Where will they meet?

Posted by: Vennela At: 2, Aug 2007 11:09:26 AM IST O,T,F,S,N hmm
I am not sure but if I take them as
One
Two
Four
Seven,
Nine
they are
O=1
T=O+1
F=T+2
S=F+3
N=S+2
So the Next Number should be N+1 = 10 and the Answer is "T"

Alternately,
if they represent One Three Five Seven and Nine then the answer is Simple "E"leven :))
