marriage should be based on love and commitment.
moreover, even if the wife does not work after mrrg, tht does not justify her husband's asking for dowry. there is a certain thing called the dollar value of the household work. dani appreciate cheyaleni vadu dadama.

OK good topci to disucss.
First of all arranged marriage menas we dont know the oppsoite until the day of marriage.
Except one are two gettogethers.
How you can go with a person who doesnt know until the day marriage.

IT MAY BE IN THE FORM OF MONEY,BEAUTY,EDUCATION.....

Y dowry system came is girls doent have liberty to take the
property from the father.so this is the way they can get there share.
And when girls looks so many things from the guys side y cant guy look
the same things from other side.
If the girl is working ,good looking and nice and anybody married
with out a penny doent means that guy is very good and broad minded.
he is looking that his wife is going ot earn for him.

other case when the girl is working will she be ready to marry an unemploy.
No bcoz she is afraid that her life will hell with this Bekar .
so she is indirectly expecting safty for her life tooo...(or thier parents...)
THATS MEANS SHE ALSO TAKING DOWRY FROM HER HUSBAND...
So in my opinion dowry tisukunnara leda anedi poorthiga there own personnel matters.
But this should not be custom.If the girl father is ready to give then its not a problem.
