Mr. Raghu ,i must make one point clear to you and that is spiritual practise is purely personal and one can not appreciate if his priorities are other than that and unless he/she practically put efforts in that direction one can not develop correct vision.I do agree with you that i could not explain my views about the system i have been following since i myself am not perfect in practise but enthusiastic to introduce the practise to others basing up on my experience.It is very difficult to explain about divine experiences just like the example of a sweet mango fruit that i have hinted earlier. so let us stop discussing on the subject and try to understand individually by practising the method to verify for self.

The site has a couple of misguided notions about other religions. Since I am a Christian I can shed some light on what they say. For starters. Cross is a curse, Crucifixion is the punishment given to only the worst criminals. Its is the most insulting, slow and painful death sentence. Sometimes people crucified stay alive for a week before they die. Roman Govt reserved it for worst criminals.
Now Christians, remember the cross not as an object of worship, but as a symbol that Christ took that horrible punishment for the sins of the mankind. We dont worship the cross as a symbol for Christ. Its the symbol of Christ death for all of us.
He took all our sins and sins that we committed, we will commit and we are committing and took punishment for us.
Why? God is omnipotent but THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT GOD CANNOT DO. one of them is to let sin go unpunished. Punishment is eternal death. But God loved us so much that he didnt want us to take the punishment. We are all sinners and we cant stand in front of God. He didnt want us, his created to die. So instead of us he punished his own son for our sins. So we are forgiven because Christ died for us. So now to stand before God we need only accept that we are sinners and accept christ died for us. No worshipping, no idols, no chanting. Just repentence for our sins and acceptance of Christ sacrifice.
Now worhsipping Christ is meaningless if he also died and stayed dead like the rest of men. But he rose again physically on the 3rd day. He ate food drank and walked this earth in his resurrected form for 40 days. He promised resurrection for all who stand in him with faith, who accept his gift of forgiveness. This is the faith we have. This is the God we worship. Not the cross. Cross is just piece of wood it can't save our soul. It can help us cook food, warm ourselves, or make ourselves a boat travel.
Only the work of Christ on the cross saves our souls from hell. Cross reminds us of the death that we would have to go thru if Christ didnt save us. A reminder that we are sinners. We bear this fallen nature of man in mind looking at the cross. Not worship it. We dont pray to the cross. We pray to God who died on the cross and rose again. No doubt the idol worship tradition carried into the christian traditions to worship the photos of Jesus and Cross. But its wrong. Bible condemns any kind of idol worship because its meaningless.
As an example there are no real paintings of Jesus. Because early church avoided idol worship vehemently. Even the desciples of Christ vehemently prevented people from worshipping the desciples. Because only God should be worshipped. No other person, nor thing is worthy of worship. Worship is a compound word for worth ship. Is a piece of wood, or a lump of silver or a stone worthy. No! Only God is worthy of Worship because he didnt even spare his own Son to save us.
There is tangible evidence of all these. These are not just myths. There are official documents/ manuscripts attesting life, death and resurection of christ. No not the bible. all this evidence I talk about is outside the Bible. Thats evidence I build my faith on. And God strengthens. But I still look with open mind to other religions to see if they have similar claims with archeology, history, monuments.

One point on the site says idol worship is needed for spiritual childhood. One question. Do we realize Gods power looking at a vigraham.
