General Forum: Govt. and Politics | Is Chandrababu Naidu really taking the state forward? | |
| Swapna garu,
Regarding back stabbing and loyalty switching: you see, we have to take decisions based on the current situations. Situations keep changing all the times - we should change with them too. And again, the people in the power should think about the public - not just their personal moral values.
I don't have any comments to make on his corruption - but can tell one thing. We cannot expect today's politician to be Mahatma Gandhiji. The point is whether he is taking the state forward or not.
I am not saying Babu is 100% good - but I can definitely say that he is the best person among all other alternative people who can possibly become our Chief Minister.
I request you to respond. Thanks.
Posted by: Mr Suresh KVS At: 14, Jun 2002 5:53:42 AM IST He has at least contributed to the growth of the state. At least he took the initiative to make a beginning when compared to the previous politicians who just used the power completely only for their personal purposes rather than make a difference.
Posted by: Miss Madhavi Madhavi At: 13, Jun 2002 10:36:08 PM IST He is lot better than many other leaders. Few years back nobody bothered about AP. And now .... can anybody disagree with this. In previous 8 years AP changed a lot. isn't it
Posted by: Rajender Reddy At: 13, Jun 2002 1:57:49 AM IST Hello swapna,
How come he is not progressive, did any other cm has done that type of radical changes.at least he brought some type activity in state political spectrum.a few years back the politics were rigid, corrupt, stagnated. It will take some years to clean 40 years of mess.

Posted by: Mr. Srinivasa Rao Karpe At: 12, Jun 2002 1:59:06 AM IST Progress can't be achieved over-night.
Posted by: Mr. Srinivasa Rao Karpe At: 12, Jun 2002 1:46:06 AM IST I feel this Govt. is doing atleast something. We are recognised World wide only after TD came to power.

2.Opposition is wasting time in the assemly
on insignificant topics rather than giving constructive critisism towards developmental work.
3.Since the software has taken a downturn, AP should concentrate on other core areas.
We lagged behind on auto anicillaries which generates lot of employment. Delhi,Tamilnadu, pune, bangalore have
taken initial advantages.Even now it is not too late.AP govt should encourage JV projects
from reputed manufacturers.
4.I really do not know how Mr.Naidu's decision of not participating in the central
ministry is helping AP.Presence of our 3/4 central ministers makes a big difference. Some how we failed to get a good central support over the years. Now we got a good chance.Mr. Naidu is not making use of it.
