Hello Everyone,
Sorry for the delay in my post. There is no significant news in these two days. Actually Friday I rang to the PP number but both the couple or not available. Friday night girl's mother rang to me and said that they went to meet some 'leader' who said that he will be writing a letter to MGM doctors so that they can test the girl again and give us the medical report.
I asked her to give us the doctor's or hospital number so that we can talk with the doctor directly. She said ok.
Yesterday evening also I tried their number but again both the couple are not there. I think they might be busy in trying to get money to move the girl to the doctors. (I assume so. The girl's mother said that they are trying to arrange some money as the father is not going to work due to the pressure.).
Anyway, there would not be much help from our side, if they can't come forward with the details.
Actually the medical report they sent was of MGM hospital only. We need to check them again if we can find the phone number in them.
However, if anyone of you who belong to Khammam can find out the phone number of Khammam MGM Hospital, it would be good. If anyone of you are interested, can you coordinate the work there?

Hello Everyone,
I expected positive discussion with respect to this particular girl and what we need to do and how we should proceed etc.,
Today most probably we may get the clear picture or atleast by tomorrow evening. I am expecting a call from girl's father to inform us the concerned doctor's name and phone number. I will be giving it to the NGO and she will enquire the medical history and the present situation and possibilities of survival etc.,
I will keep you updated on this case as and when any progress is made. Please follow the thread and share your suggestions. Convey your opinion.

Discussions are going on and I assure TP Foundation will be formalised soon. It needs some more time. One cannot just start as it is. We need to formalise the board, advisory committee, have to have a mission statement etc., etc.,
Coming to our support, yes, we all will pursue the effort with much seriousness. I have a proposal. As I mentioned, I prepared it but not typed. I will be posting for sure within this sunday.

Hello Friends,
We preponed the appointment and met the concerned person of the NGO at 5:30 pm today. She is very cordial today and expressed her happiness that youth are showing interest in social work and they are coming forward to donate the money even without knowing anything or without getting the details.
She spoke to the girl's father and asked about the case. But as he being illiterate couldn't give the details which are important. She asked him to provide the phone number of the doctor who diagnosed the patient. She said that she will definitely offer her help and guidance and see to that the help is reached to her as early as possible provided there are chances of survival.
The girl is suffering from 3 years and she is bed-ridden. We do not know the complete picture of her medical history.
Let us pray and hope that the girl be cured and lead a happy life further. But, we need to think the other side also.
There are many questions now. We have no answers. May be this is what we call experience.
1) What if doctors say that there are no chances of survival even if she is operated?
2) How far we can help her if doctors refuse to operate or say the girl can only be given medication as long as she can survive?
3) How much can we donate? Upto how much time we can be responsible with respect to this particular case?

Ofcourse we need not speculate now and hope for the best. But it would be good if we discuss on this aspect also and formulate a strategy.
There is no doubt that we all came forward with good intention. There is nothing wrong in our efforts but as we lack experience in these kind of activities, we didn't look at the other side of the coin.
But it indeed helped us in learning the things, who will come forward for a cause, how should we think when we decide to help, what are all the points/issues we should make note of etc., It indeed given us inspiration to work collectively with the same spirit.
As far as I am concerned, I came out of my cocoon and my hesitation and began active again. I vow now to continue the spirit. I have been going through the other thread reg. helping the motherland and there has been serious discussions about the practical possibilities also. I would be sharing my concrete views within this sunday. I have a proposal for all of you. I expect your critical feedback and inputs.
I am happy that with all your support, and the guidance of experienced people, I am moving ahead with confidence now.
This particular fund raising, this particular cause, again reiterated the fact which I felt when I collected money for the Kargil and requested money for Sravanthi in Blood Transfusion case and when I shared the news of requirement of Blood.
It is that, if we come forward with honesty and sincerity, there are many people to join us, to offer their help and support. More so, there are many eminent people who are working for the causes and people who are devoting their lives only for service.
I sincerely thank one and all and now at this crucial juncture, need your suggestions and opinion. I hope there will be positive discussion.
