I don't think Modi denied visit VISA for US. Infact he wants a VISA under multiple entry and dual citizenship. AS a CM he saved lot of money and he want to spend a happy life in US which he doesn't like. He is against westernization.
US followed it's regulation before issuing VISA which was neglected by MODI. US will not consider whether the applicant is a Gujarat CM or an ordinary citizen.
It's not a prestige issue but it's remark by US govt for which Modi and his political career is responsible.
In this matter INDIA got nothing to do with US remarks upon Modi. Modi should wake up now and leave that type of politics which will bring remarks for his career.
By the way what is BJP response in this regard. Why because BJP gave big statement that Modi formulae give good results in Gujarat. Now it is clear what is Modi's formaulaw.

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi has been denied diplomatic visa and his tourist/business visa already granted has also been revoked as per the US Immigration and Nationality Act. The Act prohibits 'any government official who was responsible for, or directly carried out, at any time, particularly severe violations of religious freedom' from travelling to that country.
The BJP slammed the United States for not allowing its chief minister in Gujarat Narendra Modi to enter the country. The BJP said the action was 'unwarranted' and had caused 'insult' to the entire nation. Do you agree with this?
