National and State Skill Shortage Lists - 2002
· Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Skills
The National and State Skill Shortage Lists for 2002 are based on labour market intelligence undertaken by
DEWR in the second half of the year 2001-02. The Skill Shortage lists incorporate information on specialisations in shortage in Australia.
Information about the extent of shortages, that is Country wide is provided.
The lists also make use of the concept of recruitment difficulties where ‘skill shortages’ are not evident, but
some employers have experienced recruitment problems.
