G for Georgie Best at football he was 'The Best'
H is for Heaven a beautiful place to rest
I is for immaculate a beauty very rare
J is for John Lennon for him we all did care
K for J.F. Kennedy shot down so very young
L for Love itself which can be very strong
M for Marilyn Monroe why do the good die young
N for Norma Jean who was loved in Elton's song
O is for omission we must leave no-one out
P for the young Princes' missing their Mum no doubt
Q for Queen of All Hearts in poems this she's named
R for Running Bear with Little White Dove he remained
S for my Mum Sheila her beauty in photos remain
From this world departed but I will see her again
T for Simon Templar my Mum thought him a true Saint
U is for Uncertainty watch this Love with restraint
V is for the Valiant their hearts so very strong
W for the worldly wise their lessons will not be wrong
X must be for kisses these affectionately given
Y is for Yuletide when gifts given with love are hidden
Z is for zealous our love must truly be
