Word ladders, Word chains, Step Words, Doublets - call it what you will, this variety of puzzles is apparantly invented by Lewis Carroll.
Example:
Put MILK into PAIL: (5-steps)
Milk
Mill
Bill
Ball
Bail
Pail
Here's a few you might want to try:
1. find CAMP SITE (4-steps)
2. put INK into PEN (5-steps)
3. increase FOUR to FIVE (6-steps)
4. make BLACK WHITE (7-steps)
5. turn LINEN into SHEET (8-steps)
