One day I was shopping in walmart.One lady came and asked me....."Excuse me..my two little girls want to know.......what's that on your face.Does it mean that you are married?"What does that mean....in simple bottu enduku pettukunnavu.........atleast oka padi mandanna adigi untaaru nannu.Recently one girl came and asked me the same.I got frustrated because I was not able to give her a genuine answer.I remember my grandma saying something......I had vague ideas which I couldn't recollect.I called up my best friend nitin.He said......."Madhu....ala kaadu ra...we have some heat releasing points in our body like mana ari chetulu.and arikaallu and aa spot where you put bindi.So akkada vacche heatni cool cheyataaniki poorva kaalamlo chandanam adi abbailu kooda pettukunevaallu.Ippudu memanta maanesam.Ante"
Anyway what is your answer for the question "Ammailu bottu enduku pettukuntaaru?" Please don't make fun of me.I know being a girl I should know the proper answer for it but it's not toooo late.I luv my culture and want to know more about it.
