| Whatever it is.. who ever has started this... I donno all that.. but I have a little Idea about this MLM and lemme give u ppl also that little bit of idea...
did any one of you ever hear from any of your frends... " orey idi konara... idi koni inko 8 mandiki ammu.. valla dabbullo konta neekostadi.. malli vaadu inkokadiki ammitey inkontha vasthundi .... " things like this.. this is MLM...
MLM = Multi Level Maarketing... also can be called as Chain marketing.. there is a little difference in MLM and Chain Marketing.. In a chain marketing if one person in between does not continue to sell the product.. the whoole thing is dumed.. in MLM... it does not matter if one breaks...
The thing works like this..
1) you buy a product from a agent..
2) by this u become an agent aalso..
3) u sell the product to few other customers ...
4) u get a part of the amount they pay for the product..
5) now ur customers aalso become agents..
6) now they sell products to their customers...
7) u get a part of amount from that sales also..
and on and onn..
this keeps on going..
and at one level... u may not even try selling the product at all.. the ones u have sold are doing the business for you.. and u r just sitting home and n'joying the cash u get at specific intervals....
I am not any Marketing agent nor any Management studet.... but I found theeese details when i personally visited a MLM marketing agent a couple of years agoo..
this thing may work fine only for casual going people... do not aim urself into this busines.. but just let it go free on its way... if some one has seen that product in your house and appreciated it .. then alone sell it... or something like that... but keeping this as main busines can cause troubles at times.. not everyone can succed in this..
I Hope the information I have given is understandable and everyone gets the point of this MLM..

There were a few companies which tried using MLM concepts to create home businesses. But am not sure about their success rate. MLM concepts at present are best applied for internet/e-bizz. The oppurtunities for home business at this stage in India using MLM are very bleak.
MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing a.k.a Network Marketing which basically believes in the principle of "working smarter rather than working harder".
Example, instead of business-building results being based on one person's efforts over a period of 24 hours, it becomes possible to have numerous people working for you during that same 24 hour period. What's exciting is these people are working for themselves as well.
Hope it makes MLM concept clearer. 'Am not myself a marketing/business person though :)
