hmmmm...its good, Hopefully it will subside and become non existant in future! I found somany reddy brothers who really want this country to improve and see A.P developing in to a good state. As I never attempted ,seriously, knowing what caste actually is and Why it is introduced into the society ,though I heard lot of statements reagarding its emergence, accusing one caste or the other as the culprit!But forgetting all are part of it!, I can not even discuss further ! As,many learned people suggested here in this site, let us stop this discussion and concentrate on more constructive things! I would also like to remind myself of somany helpless,less lucky,hungry faces looking at us!Let us think about them and do some thing! have a nice day sudarshan

Hi all, What madan told is 100% true. Here in U.S(Specially in Universities) people are divided into south indians and north indians.. Again in south indians telugu,kannada,tamil and malayalam... First time i am listening again division in telgus... we should stop thinking about these divisions and improve AP

Hi to all, I dont really care about the Reddy sidelined or not .The AP must improve in terms of standards of living ,get away from the feelings of dignity of labour and live a Happy and peaceful life .Dont worry about the caste ,participate actively in all social & political activities and improve the city ,develop it in terms of what you dream. Dont care about that you are getting sidelined ,as long as you have your vision,public image ....dont bother about all this useless scrap... hi, I think ,and read somewhere,that the sense of insecurity makes people to give calls like"unite& fight" "stand united" "stay together"(as a group of elephents attacked by a lion).It is quite Natural. While britishers/muslims(invaders) ruled us,the people with Assets(like cultivable lands,gardens etc) always feared losing them.Some surrendered to the rulers ,some fought back! Even children's future is considered to be one of our propeerties to be protected right?(we call it thier right to live freely and happily!)When that was attacked,and the women(in king's ages)were also considered to be the assets of a 'group of people'(we call it now a country,as country is not a geographical area but a group of people)lot of wars occured for "thier"women! The same sense of insecurity is now gripping Mr.surendra.And today when i saw AP news papers (4thjan2003)the visyas call for united fight!,it is the same logic that is working ! Mr.Reddy,may be feeling threatened as the monopoly that existed in political field of andhra pradesh by reddies for long is now taken over mostly by Kammas. as One news paper in AP put it as "reddy raajya dhwansam and kamma raajya sthapana" when rama rao won a landslide victory! I hope (and pray God),all these slogans slowly fade once economic freedom and freedom of thought comes to all the people for which education and exposure is the key! Mr.Reddy can not be stamped as casteiest nor the people who are not talking about the caste as broadminded! Talks never show a person's true mentality ! But actions does. The immediate reaction for his starting of discussion and dubbing him as 'reddy favourite 'really made me surprised as this comes from the hatred about some caste which might have attcked them with its multipronged startegies! anyways i think i am clear in saying that nothing wrong in his call for uniting his sect of people there by seeking protection in that group! But as everybody knows just by belonging to a caste does not make you do everything good to that caste? Many reddies killed each other and destroyed each other's families in the recent history. These are all passing things till we all get real education which ,i believe,ceased to exist ever since we were attacked and maligned by people like macualay and others! have a nice day sudarshan

sad but true..they r being sidelined..i wouldnt like any caste being sidelined..every body should have an equal say in democracy,,,why r they being sidelined?if i become cm..i would nt do that to other people...so whats wrong with what surendra sid??????people who suffer know it better...he never said any thing about other castes..what he said doesnt sound like..he is being rude to other people..if i say iam reddy that never means every body else r fools..caste system is in genes...it never changes...this isnt america..
