I don't believe that he is god and now also believe that he is not even a good person. Narasimhan attested the above to me as an indubitable fact, though he was not personally present to the killings, being asleep in his apartment. He further recounted to me a conversation at which he had been present when Baba's younger brother, Jankiramaiah (a multi-millionaire property owner and entrepreneur who now also virtually heads the Sathya Sai Central Trust) discussed the incident with "a very high official in the Indian Government", who it later became clear was the Home Minister, S.B. Chavan. (Note: Janakiramiah openly claimed to the press repeatedly and insistently that the intruders had intended to assassinate his elder brother, SB!) Chavan had congratulated Janakiramiah on having had the four intruders shot by the police and one of them commented "Dead men tell no tales", whereupon they actually laughed together. Narasimhan was deeply shocked. When one considers his position at that time, it is easy to see how powerless he was to stand up and announce what he knew. His life would almost certainly have been in danger. from -- www.exbaba.com Deccan Chronicle 10-6-1993. Sources point out Mr. Janaki Ram’s delay in condemning the attack on his brother as a pointer to his involvement. They said Mr. Janaki Ram tried to play upon the grouse of the assailants through Vijay Shantaram Prabhu, a close aide of Mr. Janaki Ram and in charge of the vocational centre, who in turn entrusted the job to the four disenchanted disciples. Top police officials hint discreetly that there is more to the assassination bid than the power struggle theory that is doing the rounds. They talk of ‘murky happenings’ in the ashram over the last few years. In this context, the revelation made by a doctor of the nearby Government Civil Hospital is startling. The doctor said a number of unidentified bodies, particularly those of women, were brought to the hospital from Prashanthi Nilayam by the police in the past. Post-mortems on the bodies mostly revealed death due to suspicious circumstances and signs of rape, he said also from www.exbaba.com

He never said he is a messenger or having any relation with GOD. His illusions gathered mass but not enough funds for whole INDIA. The gathered mass raised the funds which inturn diversified towards Medical, Health & Educational institutions and hospitals. This may be another way of paying taxes which was selected by some generous people.

Nope. I don't believe in him. One doesn't have to project an image of god to do service to the man-kind.

I think this is the main problem with concept. When comes to point of existing power people will surrender immediately leaving the ethics aside.

I do not have any objection in believing in any one as God or Avtar. However I think, now a days more and educated people because of their needs and ambitions to be fulfilled in shortest time, look towards astrology and any temple or a place where they get the fastest return. I have seen people visiting Shirdi/Tirupati after fulfillment of their wishes. The only problem is that this gives lead to lot of copy cats who can also perform miracles and can call themselves sadhus or Gurus. I have heard that now a days lots of household people has become devotees and performing miracles. Is this really a great step forward?.
