Not A Problem. Also: Increase your liquid intake. Warm tea with honey is a favorite home remedy. Use a steamer or humidifier in your bedroom. Gargle with warm salt water several times daily: ¼ tsp. salt to ½ cup water. Take over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol Sore Throat®, Tempra®) or ibuprofen (Motrin IB®, Advil®).

Sorry To Hear That ;( Avoid Drinking Cold Water Or Any Cold Bewerage. Drink Only Warm Water. SELF CARE (What you can do yourself) Sore throats are best soothed by gargles of paracetamol solution. Use two 500mg dispersible paracetamol tablets in half a mug (150mls) of warm water. Take a mouth full of gargling solution. Hold it inside the mouth and breathe in through the nose. Gargle out as slowly as possible. At the end of the gargle breathe through the nose once again. Repeat this at least three times with each mouthful before swallowing the gargling solution. Repeat gargling with four or five mouthfuls until all the solution is used. Children as young as three years of age can be taught to gargle. They can gargle with a flavoured paracetamol solution (do not use aspirin for children under 13 years of age). Babies and children who are unable to gargle require regular dosing with paracetamol for pain relief.

For Tooth Pain.. For relief from toothache, apply finely powdered pepper powder and clove oil. Saline rinse and apply ice. Apply sugarless gum over the affected area. This helps keep the air out of the hole. Bite a clove to ease a toothache .Biting on a clove or rubbing clove oil on the tooth cavity itself will relieve the pain. Turmeric (haldi) burnt, and finely powdered, can be used as toothpowder. Pound some asafoetida (hing) in a mortar & pestle and add some lime juice. Heat it slightly. Soak a piece of cotton and hold it on the affected area.
