Tell me a single case in which a girl with MS computers in USA married a Bekar guy in india r wise versa....

well...do you really care and show some interestto marry, If the girl drinks and smokes with you(u mean sharing). I don't think so, there may be some gals who r too modernized. I believe this drinking and smoking is not at all related to our so called discussion "Dowry System".
I definetely oppose "Dowry System", ala ani my brother had taken dowry, its his wish. So as I oppose dowry system, if I marry I will not take dowry.
As Rajasekhar said, even if you don't take dowr gals parents may think either he is not a nice person or have some problems or may be he has some affairs or etc etc...
More over people thoughts are based on the place, circumstances, surrondings and society they grown up. Different people grown from different places will have different opinions.
Both Gals and Guyz should work hard to vanish this "DOWRY SYSTEM" from the society, and have to prove that with out "Dowry" also you can lead a peaceful & joyful family.
I wish every guy and gal incuding me to actively participate and make it successfull in throw out this "Dowry System".

I do agree that dowry system is bad and need to go away. But who needs to grow up?
The guyz o& their parents or girls & their parents?
Yeah guyz should say to theeir parents not to accept dowry.
Cant the girls ask their parents not to go after a guy who is wealthy or who can earn a lot. Girls aslo should ask their parents to search for their soulmates. isnt it?
