If I am not mistaken, I feel JNVs and APRSchools are similar. The way Snadhya has described about life in JNVs. About me, I am APRS Kodigenahalli product. These schools are great and life I sepnt 6 years was memorable. But many fail to keep those standard after passingout from those schools,because of lot of reasons and wasting their potential they developed in the schools. But why? Can some one throw light on this?

I feel very proud to say I am from Navodaya..
Donno abt other residential schools.. but my school was simply great. Those days are my most memorable days.
Our teachers were very friedly, caring... infact we used to tease our teachers :).. I played the games I wanted to. Shifted from shuttle to basket ball to volley ball... :)
Participated in diff cultural activities.. and most important.. how do we used to celebrate aug15 or jan26? marchfast, dumbles, lezims, hoops etc etc..
and school environment? ekkadoo voori chivarlo undedi.. pollution free.. pedda pedda classrooms, labs, library, dormitories, dining halls.... hmmm. ivanni gurthu chesukuntoonte malli teacher ga naina school ki vellali anipisthoondi..:(

Hi frieds, we know why JNVs were started. Lets leave aside if they are failure or success. Do we regret for studying there or happy that we are products of JNV?
lets discuss our opinions.
I am From JNV, horsley hills, chittoor .93 out going
studied MBBS at SV medical college , tirupati,
right now in US.Starting residency in July.

any state, any dist.. doesn't matter. just wanna know how are JNV ppl doing..
I am from Lepakshi (Ananthapur dist).. passed out +2 in 95. working as a s/w eng at Sec'bad.
