General Forum: Govt. and Politics | IS Mr. ChandraBabu Naidu Govt GOOD or BAD? | |
| He is one of te worest leaders the andhra predesh has .borrowing money from the world bank and ruling the state is not a great thing any one in the state can do it.And there is no need for such publicity for this.First he should try to develope the resources in the state and try to improve them.
Posted by: Mr. ravi kanth reddy singavaram At: 10, Jun 2002 4:42:03 PM IST he is a good leader for rich.......but a terrible person for poor. (May be poor dont realize it but thats what his shemes/programs say). Kiran, you must have attended a meeting of rich community.
I somehow never happened to read any article (article by a professional polical analyst) which praises Chandus economic reforms.
Even in Eaanadu on sunday, on the front page of the news paper, (font in red...) I think there was a news publised against the budjet of CB's govt.
Lets see whats left for future. I hope people will be able to come out of his traps.
Posted by: Ms Samatha G At: 4, Feb 2002 10:04:31 PM IST Since 6 years or more i have been thinking about it,many time my mind is in for loop thinking about he is good or bad, but no conclusion:
What i found is when i see through RAMOJI RAO(EENADU) eyes he is excellent, and oh! words are less to praise him......When i see through VAARTHA he is too bad bad of the bad of CM's.
Let me give three situations i faced
1)One fine day when i was in Hyderabad city bus (I remember the day of attack of Parliment) One man talking to his friend (both are around 50) fully against BJP and CBN i politely asked him ok!ok! problems are ther but what is the solution is it a solution to give power to congress or some body else what is the gaurentee that history won't repeat?
He replied me that How many new jobs are created either in private or public?
How many new Industries established?
How many reservoirs were built in past 7 years? What this government is going to do? is in't it like GLADIATOR day of modern entertainment.just with publicity and bringing loans but spending them as they told even we had no freedom to buy meeters of electricity ........................
and much more .he concluded government should improve agriculture with heavy projects kunti saakulu vaddu,if it think it can do.should improve industries improve an environment in which we can be safe.......
-------------------------------------
Then in that week only i attended a meeting in our university in which every speeker was an intellectual everybody concluded Hyderabad is a beautiful place, where can they plan to work and soooo thanks to CBN for making it like this i forget but they praised him with one mouth they all are central govt employees many of them are non telugu people it is not a political meeting:
--------------------------
Pimmata aade roju godapi
idigo bhagyanagaram soubhagya nagaramu,
pakkane mahaoobnagar durbagya naramu,
ane title or some thing else i don't remember exactly.......ane oka kavita kanpinchinadi.

No hard feelings folks. Though Anjali expressed it straight forward, the theme or the conclusin is the same. Yes, we must accept somebody,if he/she comes, who can work better than the current administrator of AP.
"LETS THINK OF ANDHRA DEVELOPEMENT ONLY AND NOT THE CM'S. IF MR. X COMES TO DO GOOD FOR ANDHRA WE WILL HAIL HIM AS LONG AS HE WORKS FOR OUR STATE. SIMILARLY WE ARE APPRECIATING CB GOVT. COZ HE IS DOING GOOD TO AP."
cheers

Posted by: Mr. prasanth N At: 14, Nov 2001 9:02:09 AM IST Hello all and Samatha garu..
i read your long opinion on our CM..
it is right.. i agree with you and could not resist appreciating you for you research..
good keep it up..
But you behaved as a well educated layman..
what do you know about the development..
You said that it has nothing to do with the flyovers with the poor people.. but my dear buddy..
why the BSE trebles when there is some downtrend in US markets or becoz of attacks.. why it touches ground when there is a war in Kashmir??
After all it is concerned with business...
it has nothing to do with all these things..
This is as per views....
But the fact is that the your so called poor andhra( i.e. majority).. when they were rich?? what is their position 10 years back?? and what is their standard now???
Did you ever go to remote villages 10 years back... did you go recently??
if yes.. you will find the difference of Mr. CB's government..
it is easy to give lecture based on the figures given..
it may be 500 crores 10 years back..
but if you think of it clearly.. you can find that is not as much as it should be..
Why do you hate World bank???
it is not asking to do something bad.. but it is suggesting towards the development...
INDIA is in this position because of these subsidies..
i dont mean that it is bad to give the subsidies..
BUT HOW LONG??? cheppandi....
i dont mean that he is best leader..
but he is far better than those who ruled our state and were directly or indirectly reason for present situation...
if he is doing something better.. try to encourage him...
i repeat many things do not have direct consequences or immediate results .they are meant for longterm results..if educated like you can't understand them.. obviously .. a lay man can't..
Anjali...

Posted by: Mr detective search At: 6, Nov 2001 11:31:20 AM IST Hello all and Madhu,
Its really nice to plan something collective. Lets start with some
ideas as what can be done. Lets take up as a differnt posting.
Ms Madhu,
I doubt if I can argue with a law student :-) Anyways;
well, as far as I know (and I believe I know) Govt is; a politcal
authority which works for people in their territory (territory in present
situations and state for the old times :-)) So it is CM, his cabinet and all
our representatives and NOT PEOPLE who form govt. True that people are
responsible for the election of govt, but it is because we happen to be
a democracy. Govts did exist far before democracies are invented (or
discovered if you like to call so :-)). (we even have govt at the time of
kingdoms.....dont confuse this with democracy concepts).Hence the
statement, "Can our Govt do this???" is a perfectly valid statement. (I
believe so).
Though people can indirectly TO SOME EXTENT (full extent
idealistically...) control the activities of a govt, they dont form a govt.
Mr Murli,
the statement is true and is accepted but, a new way should not
deteriote the present situation.
Creative ideas are welcomed; but it should not start with a poor
knowledge of practicality. Even if started, people in such a resposible
position are expected to learn out of experiece and modify a bit of their
creativity. And the worst is the manipulation of media to make people
believe in their creativity; though they knew it is making things worser.
As far as I know he is more a politician(or an intelligent political
tactician :-)) than an administrator.
Enjoy!
Posted by: Ms Samatha G At: 6, Nov 2001 11:28:14 AM IST Hi all,
Please read this statement again and again which is quoted by Ms. Madhu..
"after many decades of our freedom we got some person who is thinking prosperity of our state in a new way"
Unambigously, One has to accept this statement. I have been talking about this statement only....

Posted by: Mr. prasanth N At: 6, Nov 2001 10:42:48 AM IST Hi Samatha
I must congratulate for your research towards CM's policies and all the implementations.
But I am very much disappointed with your conclusive statement "Can our Govt do this?? and can be remain unaware of these hard facts??? ".
I thought you are well educated lady but you are also thinking like ordinary people.. that Govt means not CM & and his leaders(they are just representatives of us) Govt means people(we). People have every right to question the leaders and they can tell them how their government should be.
With this discussion forum I wish to work together for the welfare of the state. Please go ahead with your tasks of collecting information and educating the at least literate people like us.
And I strongly believe that it is our responsibility to do something as an educated people.
Let’s work together to achieve a dream state...........!!!!!
Posted by: Ms Madhu T At: 6, Nov 2001 8:08:36 AM IST Hi Dear Deepa
I felt that my message has pained you lot but it's not my intention to hurt you. I am not denying the facts whichever you mentioned in this reply. Of course I am also a student of Law and I am very well know about our cheap politics and the leaders who are taking advantage over the illiterates and poor people.
That's what I am saying is instead of blaming ministers and other officials why don't we people (I mean we have enthusiasm to do something to our state) go to people and do something. We have to inspire & change the people first. But it should be done only we have maximum percentage of literacy. In my opinion if anybody has to think about any problem means he has to know the problem first. I hope you got my point.
So why don't we take part in literate people in all aspects. If people know their problems it will be very easy for us to abolish corruption mainly of course if we abolish corruption means automatically there no room for poverty.
I am not saying that whatever our CM is doing is good at least after many decades of our freedom we got some person who is thinking prosperity of our state in a new way.
For to do anything we need financial support so why don't we make some committee and we can take directly funds from NRI’s and make welfare of the village and illiterates.
Think about it.. I want to write more but time is not permitting me.
Hope to continue other day
