Cinema Special: Introspection | | Five Decades of Indian Cinema!! | |
| For me a film should entertain.Most people think entertainment is comedy but i disagree in that.Basically anything which holds my attention and involves me in the story is entertainment.People tend to misunderstand me if i say that the film satya is very entertaining.But for me i was fascinated to see the otherworld(underworld) and their lifestyle in a very realistic manner.But i still do not agree that films do influence people.They might be influenced to become a part of cinema(like an actor or a director)but definetely not a character in a cinema i guess.If anyone say they are influenced by a character they will get influenced by anything in life.So why blame the cinema for that.

I dont agree that movies is only meant for entertainmnet it might b part of it.V can appriciate movies with diff subject lines but overl movie should nt meant for only entertainment.As I said it has greater impact on the society and life style of the ppl also so it cant b treated as entertainment.

Usually people go to a movie for entertainment or to be frank to forget
daily problems in life and have fun for three hrs(though such movies are becoming
rare these days) . There is no point in watching a movie relating to poverty, nepotism., lowmorality,
degrading indian standards etc when we are experiencing them in daily life. For example take chandinibar(hindi movie)
...after watching that movie we felt so deppressed and so bad that it almost became a nightmare. To forget that we saw 3 old comedies.
So i personally feel movies are meant for entertainment ......tomake a person forget his problems atleast for some time and ofcourse watching movies like Chandinibar once in a while is necessary to realise how lucky we are for leading this life (i think its a great realisation)....what do you say?

I didnt say that v should use their formula the way v r producing the movies should change esp the story line i mean,that should b only a luv story,V all know that KamalHassan movies r diff from others even though his movies also might hv luv but the major story line is diff,his movies convey some new msg to the spectotors.Y cant they choose topics which really needed for Indian culture,socies.India has many burning issues like Poverty,Unemployement,Corruption,Nepotism,Cheap Politics,Low Morality,Indain Law,Dwory System,Caste System etc etc etc if a write I can write many.

Hi all,
I consider Cinema is one of the most influential factor on Society.Can u all hav some attention to u.Indian Cinema is reached many milestones in it life time.Still it seems there is no much change in the concept of many indain films,My focus to this forum is the main concept of Indain cinema,If u all see the story line of manhy films that goes LOVE story,this is happening for last 5 decades,from RajKapoor to KarinaKapoor.May b very seldom there r some movies with diff story and background but how many like that.If v see the world cinema thier story is line totally diff,that waries from movie to movies but where as ours still the constant WHY?Now every body has to pay their attention to it?Time are changed so that our making of movies should also change.I requst all ur opinoins on this topic.
