How well do u Impress ur master?
Someone might impress by doing hard work, someone with his ability to handle critical situation, someone with his talking ability.
Anything but it depends on how well u impress ur master?

i believe that passion is the most important thing for success in life; career, personal life, spirituality or anything for that matter.
passion is the one which give us determination, ambition and planning for knowledge gathering (degree)and knowledge application (commitment in job)

degree from a class institution is not important but commitment for constant improvement of knowledge is important as asked in question by MR yugandhar.
if u were given a job based on u r degree from a class institution then there would have been no interviews for jobs at all.
anyhow there are some exceptions.

For a Successful career most of these mentioned are important .
1) Good Collage Degree ( might should have a valid education background for the job applied. ) an education form a premier collage will help you to get in to a Job pretty easily but once u start working it has little significance .
2) But the most important thing once u join a Job is
a) Good Subjective Knowledge
b) Presence of Mind and Complete Dedication towards Job.
c) Sincerity to complete ur work given and taking a proactive approach .
d) Good Communication and presentation skills . You may be good at ur work but if u can not present what u did it will be ….. ? ?
Lastly the question is a very relative one and needs to be answered depending on the specific situation .
