Little different perspective to on-going discussion. No doubt that there is big contrinution from 'telugu land' in IT field since it's evolution. I am pretty sure that it will continue in future too. I think that Government in AP is taking good care to produce many IT professionals. I agree only little bit on 'poor communication' but it is problem not only for telugus but for many indians. In my experience in IT, i have not seen any poor performance because of poor communication. What is important is attitude and work-discipline (along with technical competence). I strongly beleive that attitude of telugu people is very good in relative terms. In general people are loyal and happy which makes them to deliver best whatever they do. I once again re-iterate that one needs good attitude and work-discipline. There are means (training programs) to aquire communication and other technical skills which organizations do offer. Records show that telugu people in general has good attitude...so i see great future for them !!

namaste Telugu Posadi, according ur posting it sounds like ur too good in communicating with americans any way i totally agree with Anonymous User's posting actually Mr. Telugu Posadi u may be working for a very small company where there are no developers from china , europe or any african countries ... i so u wouldn't have that comment about Telugus and by the way ur forgetting a major factor u can speak veeeery good english and ur also a telugu guy , well in IT field it's not important what u talk it' important what u do ..... and our people are in more number coz they can what IT companies want , and i think IT companies want people who can program well . so Mr. Posadi god has given u a gift of good communication skills so share it with others make the other people as talented as you , rather than blaming them try to help them No offence meant, Beeamer

Mr. Telugu Posadi, Kindly learn to be humble. Please improve your grammar. Nothing personal about it. My idiom would never be as good if not better than that of a mediocre generic English author. The English of most of Telugus is better than Telugu of the other. Listen to any non-English Europeans speak English; the accent, grammar, idiom...everything is horrible. If they have the audacity to put us down because of something as silly; we should ask them what they were doing apart from wearing raw hydes and running around caves at a time when we were living in great civilizations. I have had countless tussles with our fello Bharateeyas this attitude problem. We are great minds. Let us learn to be united and respect each other for what they are. sincere regards

Hi Nagaraju, First let me correct one thing. It is NOT telugu people are leading in IT. They are leading only with physical NUMBER OF PEOPLE living in U.S. My second point is, it is nothing to do with willingness or dedication. It is GREEDINESS. We all very well know that we don't have so much knowledge or dedication like bengalis or tamils. I feel really distressed when large number of telugu people arrive U.S., who are not really equipped with proper knowledge, experience or qualifications. It is nothing wrong in aspiring to make good money. But it should not be by short cut. There are some telugu people working in my project who fumble to form few words continuously in English. If I was not there he would have got fired in less than a week. No offence meant, Telugu Babu
