You betrayed me and I feel dreadful to say.

How you used to say that joke.
I remember the day you called me a dove,
That was the day we fell in love.
How you used to straighten my hair,
I thought our love was very rare.
The day I found out you were with some other girl,
I heard you say she was a beautiful pearl.
I cried myself to sleep every night in bed,
I remembered all the things you had said.
You hurt me and you gave me pain,
I wanted revenge whether it was nasty or plain.
I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep,

Then I realised what a fool I had been,
Running after someone who wasn't keen.
I realised what a creep you were,
