US market is bad for web techies, not for all. If you are one of those who work on Java (Sun)and Microsoft apps, keep urself away.

I feel how the market may be there are people still getting placed also. It all depends on mainly I feel luck and later the company which is placing you.

IT ....
well, there has been an uptrend from the last 3 months..but this doesn't look to remain so with the 'corporation crimes' popping up, resulting in deteriotion of US stock market. It looks like its not safe to go to US at this juncture.
India is a better place to stay back. Atleast for one more year. THis time there are companies in India ready to recruit...as good as 3000 by TCS.

I have always felt we have this mad herd syndrome. May it be america or engineering or what ever......lot of colleges in karnataka had swapped civil and other branches of engineering with information technology some three years back. now the same colleges are saying they don't want to have courses that have anything to do with computers. By the way, people from Bharath are treated like dirt due to various factors not limited to the way we have conducted ourselves as a nation in the past. in the materialistic world for which america is the capital if you want succeed marketing is of utmost importance. we need to market our nation. The HONEY MOON IS OVER GUYS.....GET TO SERIOUS BUSINESS.......

It is bettter to wait till the Market pick up rather than going to USA by leaving good jobs and doing nothing in USA.

In view of the economy in USA jobs in IT field are tremendously cut short.
Many H1B holders thinking that if not software job they can do an odd job. But that view is dangerous. You can not get odd on the fly more over H1B's are not authorised to work anyware.
So be carefull friends....
