| Mr. Vinod has a valid point. Any change in alphabets will cause further changes in Grammar also.
Malayalam language still using such strange sounds and letters till date; Some times it's difficult even to pronounce.
Ex: Parram ( Fruit )
Rushi Ru, the last letter Bandi Rra, lulukavata are still in use. For every different sound we have invented a letter; Where as english used group of letters to produce sporadic sounds.
One employee was talking on radio (desert) in pure malayalam; The britisher sacked him immediately.

Ms Usha, guess we had such discussion few days ago, some where(I'm unable to recollect), where Banny madam wrote an aasu padyam on the words "phalamu, phani, phalitam, phaalabhaagam" etc where I used those words as expamples for the usage of "fa". No sound as "pha" in telugu, so it should be sounded as "fa".

We all know that Telugu lipi has undergone modifications at many stages.Very recently a few "achchulu" like "Lu", "Loo" were dropped
from common use as they are rarely used.
Likewise to make the lipi rich, is it not
acceptable to add letters to represent sounds which are absent in our lipi?
In our lipi we do not have a letter to represent the sound "Fa". We are managing with the letter "Pha" of "Pa""Pha""Ba"..set.
Is it wrong to add a new letter to represent the sound "Fa"? It may be a new letter or the letter "Pha" with a dot in the middle
like some of our "Hallulu". This new letter
"Fa" can be placed along with "Ya" "Ra" "La"
"Va"..set.This is my openion.I request all our telugu people to think about it. If I am wrong somewhere please let me know.
