| Heart attack:
Human heart pumps (circulates)blood through the body and brain.Impaired blood-flow to the brain can lead to brain damage within minutes.The pumping ability of the heart is controlled by an electrical system.
The heart-attacked person may feel as if some one is applying intense pressure to the chest.This pain may last for several minutes,often extending to shoulder,arm,neck or jaw.Other signs of heart attack include sweating,nausea,vomitting etc.When the heart's blood vessel becomes narrow,it means that the amount of the blood supply to heart is insufficient to provide oxygen the heart needs.This oxygen-deprivation is what causes a type of chest pain known as Angina pectoris which is characterised by heavy tight pain in the chest area,usually after some type of exertion.
Reasons:
High Blood Pressure,Tumours,infections,Thyroid disease,certain lung disease,eloctrolyte im balance or alcohol and drug abuse etc.
Modifiable risk factors(those you can control):-1.cigarette smoking 2.High blood cholesterol. 3.High blood pressure 4.uncontrolled diabetes 5. Physical inactivity 6.Obesity or over-weight 7.Uncontrolled stress or anger 8.Diet high saturated fat 8.Gum diseases increases heart attack risks.
9.Drinking too much caffeine(tea,coffee and cola drinks.
Remedies:
Garlic (Allium Sactivum)Take garlic in tablet form or capsule form.
Ginkago(ginkgo biloba)Take tablets or half tea-spoon of fluid extract with water twice a day for two to three months at a time.
Ginger(Ginziber officinale)Grate half tsp of fresh ginger in to your food each day.
Hawthorn(Crataegus oxyacantha)is used today to treat angina and coronary artery disease.It also reduces high blood pressure.
Diet:
Spirulina,Barley,Oats,Beans,Rice Bran,carrots,Garlic,fruits(grapes,apples and oranges,papaya etc.),olive oil and lemongrass oil.
Regular exercise and walking go a long way in keeping heart in good condition.

Hot flash means a sensation of a wave of heat passing over the body,often experienced by women during menopause(the permanent cessation of menstruation,normally between the ages of 40 to 55;female climacteric or change of life.)Hot Flashes are the body's reaction to a decreased supply of the harmone estrogen which occurs naturally as women approach menopause.The symptoms are:-1.A feeling that some thing strange is coming on.Then,internal core temperature drops abruptly.In response, the skin sweats to give off heat and balance itself with the drop in internal temperature.It occurs mostly at night and sleep is constantly interrupted at nights.
Remedies:1.Soya foods (soyabeans,tofu,miso etc,.)which is incidentally low fat food,contain a natural estrogenic compound that may serve as a hot flash reliever.
2.Avoid excess coffee-drinking,since any sort of chemical stimulant like caffeine can slightly raise blood pressure and heart rate-and trigger a hot flash.
3.Deep breathing relaxation techniques reduce hot flashes by nearly 50%.
4.Using curd-intake(skimmed milk) every three hours goes a long way in reducing hot flashes.
5.Avoid fat in food since fat helps to produce more estogens in the body.
Herbal cure:
Hot flashes and night sweats are principally caused by harmonal changes.However nervous exhaustion increases the occurence of these conditions.1.Sage(salvia offcinalis):Make an infusion and drink three cups,either during the day or mainly at night when the problem usually occurs
2.White willow(salix alba),Black cohosh(cimicifuga racemosa):Take either of these herbs either in tablet form or 1 tsp of tincture with water at night
3.White peony(paconia lactiflora):Make a dicoction with 20 gm root to 750ml of water.Sip throughout the day.

Colic is a condition of infants upto three to three and half months, characterised by frequent and sometimes continuous crying due to various discomforts.In elders,colic refers to acute abdominal pain caused by various abnormal conditions in the bowl.
Factors contributing to colic amongst colicky babies are:-
1.Overfeeding in a futile attempt to lessen the crying.
2.Certain foods containing high sugar content,and undiluted juice etc.increase the amount of gas in the intestines and worsen the situation.
3.The presence of excessive anger,anxiety,fear or excitement by the mother and family members.
How to decrease the factors making colic worse:-
1.Breast feeding mothers to avoid milk products(you dont have to drink milk to make milk),caffeine,onions,cabbage,beans,broccoliand other gas producing irritating foods.
Be sure that your baby is taking juices that they are very diluted or just offer plain pure water.If babies are really thirsty,they will drink it.
Remedies:-
1.Enable your baby burp more often,after feeding.
2.Doctors recommend an over-the- counter(OTC) anti gas bubble medicine (e.g.Mylicon Drops )or even a prescription anti- cramp medicine(Levsin
Drops)
3.Woodwards Gripe mixture or "Baby's Bliss"-is a safe all natural liquid.The latter contains ginger,fennal,sodium bicarbonate(baking soda),fructose and deionized water (hiccups and colic)
Herbal cure:-
For babies under six months suffering from colic,the infusions of the following herbs can be taken by breast feeding mothers:-
ginger-(Zigiber officinale)-Give one fourth level tea spoon of dry ginger powder with half cup of hot water twice a day after food.
2.German chamomile (chamomilla recutita)-Give an infusion with one level tea spoon with one cup of water upto three cups a day.
