Situations in India will definitely improve drastically in near future ..there is prediction from lot of economists that dollor rate (Ruppee/dollor) will come down to Rs.38.(It came down from Rs.49 to Rs.46 in few months).Which is the clear indication that India's development will be good in the South Asian region..India is out-doing other South Asian countries in lot of fields.
Hr we see lot of things specially clothes,Toys,etc..which have label " Made in India" that doesnt mean that US is our slave.
US is economically strong ..by exporting lot of things ..they make lot of profit..So India has to concentrate on their indusrial sectors by increasing the export value and this will pump money into India..

um... though i never lived in india, i can say that india will change drastically in 20 yrs. i mean it has already changed so much.

india will become a super slave in 20 years.
indians historically are successful in redering support services like doctor, software etc. services. The nature of this is they cannot produce goods which can be serated from them/which cannot help others to enhance their productivity. i.e. engg. goods.
the services of a doctor cannot be separated from the person. aftetaking treatment that patient can continue to live normally. Whereas the services of a engineer enhance the productivity of others.
By culture are we interested in helping others earn so much . we are traders only just traders/brokers. The world is dominated by those who produce goods which enhance others productivity.
After all, why did India lost to britishers once. Now why is it inviting foreigners to ' invest' in india! BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE technology/bent of mind to
utilise whatever is available/unexploited.
Thus aren't we inviting other government's to control us.
WHAT IS THE ACID TEST TO KNOW WHETHER WE ARE BECOMING SLAVES OR NOT?
THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE IN YOUR KITCHEN ARE MANUFACTURED WITH OUR COUNTRY'S TECHNOLOGY OR OTHER COUNTRY'S TECHNOLOGY.
When you cannot eat food with the machinery made of your country's technology you are inviting other country's supremacy/creating obligation to yourself to obey that country.
if the situation continues for 20 years where would be.
assume that no shopkeeper/hawker/manfacturer sells anything made with the help of foreign technology. How our economy would be tomorrow.
