Thats doen't make sense, old ravi is using his 2 machines just to use in personal.Suggesting him to buy a router is not the right thing!! .
well!! since 1 PC has WINNT installled that woks fine with the scenario what we had!!
So no use of router at all.
If he uses for office purpose kind of u know more than 10 PCs he can go for Router,HUB.
Correct me if am wrong ! guess i maynot
Cheers,
Kiran

Posted by: Mr. Kiran Reddy At: 30, Jul 2003 6:42:09 PM IST hi . you need to have network cards in both the systems , easiest thing to do now is to buy a router and connect both the systems to the router .
if you have linux in one of those machines you can make that a server and with just a HUB u can serve the other PC aswell ..(its been a while since i've used linux soo correct me if i'm wrong)
hope this helps
