| I didn't designed any filters.People usually use MATLAB (This one is popular) to design the filters. Once they are done with desiging filters it will be broken down into adders and delay elements (D - flipflop), from there verilog/vhdl implementation will be done. I hope you already know this. Check your teluguone inbox , U should see my ID there.

There, U can download a DSP BOOK which explains/teaches DSP from the SCRATCH...Really a good book to learn DSP from the fundas...

Posted by: Mr. manoopuli At: 14, Aug 2003 2:48:12 PM IST In Yahoo there is group called "ASICDESIGN". U can post you question there or you can find answer to you questions in messages already posted.
If you go to www.xilinx.com and look for application notes related to DSP probably u will find some leads. I am not much of DSP guys. Try www.altera.com also.
If you have access to xilinx/altera tools - try to generate FIR filter and look at verilog file dumped by that tool (Kind of reverse engineering, Ur interest?). I believe these tool need extra license.
If you already tried all these or you already got these suggestions from other people , nothing much to say :) Good luck.
