| Anupama gaaru, as u expressed in ur posting the mind principle do not die it is carried alongwith soul to the next body so the experiences we experience may be of this life or previous life depending upon the intensity of that thought. somewhere else or here i mentioned that the body may belong to this lifebut the soul is many lives old, and the mind principle alongwith soul will be carreid to fuether lives and all this surprisingly depends upon the will of that person only- just remember the usual dialogue - operation succesful but the patient is dead!- do u know that if there is no will to live body dies!
concuding this i can say that mind which is existing even before this creation came into existence, also is as old as creation and we carry the same mind in a fraction within ourselves and that is how our elders developed visions of future which are in subtl potenial stage can be viewed by their
wll developed mental faculties and predict the future.(E&OE)

Good Morning to all! Last night i couldnot continue due to the failure of link!
Anyway having gone through the thread after i left last night , i felt that my statement needs further explanation.
As our learned friends know well that the conciousness in our person exists in several states-sub consciousstate, unconscious state and super conscious state , and super fine conscious etc...etc...
we normally exist in conscious state but due to external conditions our conscious state may shift to different levels depending upon our involvement in that situation.
So our attention to external situatios stimulate our consciousness which cannot remain idle due to its nature ,and thus results our actions in conscious state /sub conscious state /unconscious state etc.. and all other states except concious state are different states of dream .the rest can be concluded as u like

Once in rare case we find a person remembering his previous life. If such incidents take place then human kind becomes imbalance and lot of commotion. I experience seeing people with my naked eyes but don't know them.

Well, I've dreamed about several persons, whom I never ever met in my real life... some, in the dreams, were my good friends and some were enemies. But their appearence was so realistic, that I can't really believe that I haven't met them ever in my life. I didn't remember where I saw a real person whom I saw in my dreams... but I used to dream about a girl, several times, thought I'll meet her, but pch, never!
There happens so many things in dreams, some we never wanted to happen in our real life, some we wish to happen. Some fantacies too! So is the reason the song " svapnam satyamaitE vintA satyam svapnamayyEdundA ? "
And yes, I too agree that some dreams relieve our tensions. We relax after that dream.

the soul in the body is many lives old but the body belongs to this life only and added to this the mind also is influenced by past life verymuch and thus what you see in ur dreams may have connections with past life or past events in this life itself which are buried in our subconcious mind

dreams , to my understanding are good for health since they relieve our tensions built up due to complicated thinking and at the same time bring the individual to a state of calmness much needed to lead a normal life ! the learned friends here may agree or not but sometimes what we dream comes to reality due to our own visualisation close to it
