I don't remember the name of that thinker but he says 'your fate is in your hands' may be he means that one can make or mar his future as it is in hands only.similarly no one except you are responsible for your fate and your will only is the driving force to lead it in the right direction.

The boy intention to know the fate of that fly which he caught from the saint. Why he wanted to know because the saint believes in fate not the boy who caught the fly. Now it's his turn to predict the fate or rather to fix the fate of the fly which was not under his control. Here once again we have to remind that Sivuni Aagna lenidhe cheema ayena kuttadu. That means even the boy also cannot do anything against it's (fly) fate.

Because the boy wants to prove the saint wrong, and judging the intention of the boy saint made that statement -everything is in your hand!

Sir, but Why do the BOY act againest the saint words? If the saint says it's alive, the BOY may leave the fly n so so--

Once a young boy approached a saint and asked him to predict the fate of the fly he caught in his hand and asked whether it is alive or dead. The saint replied saying that 'it is in your hand my child. If i say it is alive you may crush it to death, and if i say that it is dead , you may leave it to fly away!' In the same way the infatuation in the beginning may turn into long lasting love or it remains the same and all depends upon the lovers(?) to decide whether it is really love or infatuation! Now you draw your own conclusions.

Unfortunately most of the love marriages fail because physical attraction dominates the real person and that infatuation by physical attraction do not last longer!
