So called well-educated urban people think Babu is savior of India. Let us see what he did to state. Our state public debt has gone up from Rs.10,000 crores to 60,000 crores since CBN took charge of running state. % of State Revenues utilized to service the debt (just to pay the interest) gone up from 10% to 30% in same period. With this 50,000 crores, show me one mass employment program he created? Where did all this money go? It went to his pet programmers like janmabhoomi, neeru-meeru which is usurped by his party men and women. Also, to some extend HYD is developed, realize only to increase the value of lands his friends and relatives own. Instead it could have been spent on development of irrigation, rural infrastructure like schools and hospitals which benefit 80% of state population who really need states help. Ok, the same people think Naidu is the reason for development of software and other industries in AP and for that matter India. HYD was fifth position in terms of software exports 5 years back. Now it is in 7th position. The automobile industry that he promised would come to AP went to Tamilnadu. So many companies like IDPL, Nizam sugars, Azumzahi mills etc went bankrupt and closed. Only jobs created in AP are in Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) sector which can hardly employ few tens of thousands or few lacks of people. These companies too are not coming in hordes to HYD like they are going to Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, and Bombay. The performance in general has been closer or marginally below that of all India average So where is Naidu’s the greatest self-image match the reality? Lets look at flight of farmers in AP… Thousands of farmers are committing suicide every year. Did he ever think or took any action about it? Land under irrigation is going down year-by-year under Naidu’s rule, which is the bread and butter for 80% of AP population. When farmers are fighting for Krishna river waters, CM’s attentions is on Farmula One(F1) race. What kind of administration is this? Rural people need the attention of the Govt. because they don’t have proper education and other facilities to take care of them selves like urban once. Ok lets move on to education. No monies are spent on developing primary education. He made professional education so expensive that a normal middle class student can’t afford to go to college unless his parents borrow the money to pay the fees. Then forget about poor, they can’t even imagine studying professional courses. 10 years back in AP lot of very poor to middle class families got tremendously benefited from engineering and other professional education and move up the ladder. But now, with this kind of education system they is no chance for these classes to move upwards. This will be a recipe for social upheavals in near future. The only some what happening place in AP is in Hyderabad. That too is not because of Naidu’s efforts as u think. It is because of global trend of BPO in developed countries. Administration Remember, when Clinton came to HYD, this guy issued a drivers license through internet. And remember how press went gaga about this achievement. How can a diver’s license be issued through internet without doing a road test? I am giving this as an example of how this guy can do gimmicks to create self-image. He talks about e-governance and things like that. But, if he is governing so effectively how could there be innumerable number of scams coming to light recently? Cooperative Bank scams, Scholarship scam, fodder scam, stamp paper scam, big-boss scam, timers scam so on and on. Conclusion The rural people see the reality because those are the most effected people in Naidu’s rule. The urban population and NRIs who are away from reality should realize this guys gimmicks (creating good perception through media) and open their eyes and hearts.
