Another reason why people do not express their fank opinions or views is they are sure of the consequense of their reaction in positive or negative and no body likes to complicate situations deliberately but it happense because of ego clashes.

please rememmber that we need to be frank and outspoken and once people understand that we are such individuals who likes and practises frankness then we wil automatically be accepted by only those who are free and frank to express their opinions.Generally speaking if you observe situations we find that we are subjected to more misery for not being frank and silently suffer that inconvenience blaming ourselves for involving in such situations.More over our transperancy in dealing with people and situations reduce complications too and there by our living becomes more simple and and peacefull because we need not bluff on anything or any person. @Anupama,please remember that guru is a sacred position and everybody is not fit to be termed as guru simply because of his having more information on these matters but i feel more at home here for the simple reason that i too am learning so many new aspects of spirituality from all of you here and we are all fellow travellers in our return journey towards our final goal and iam happy that our journey towards our destination is progressing well.our objective should be to have same state of existence inside and outside and we should be able to reflect like clean mirrors which do not become opaque with conflicting views and expressions.

Anupama Garu, True, Even Lord Krishna had to use this trick! Anyway His case is different, not to be compared with us mortals. But see Raja Satya Harischandra! Can anyone emulate his truthfulness, even God Himself?

Anupama garu! You have spoken almost as wisely as Jogarao garu. But he is very strict in these matters somuch so that he will not allow you a least swing in your attitude towards life. I am missing him very much today. I too wait for his further comments. Thanks for sharing your views.

Anupama garu There u r! So when you encounter such a situation either you try to escape with a smile or go for second thoghts. Here your smile was a lie. Wasn't it? A beautiful yes in place of no! That's why my opinion about the whole issue is that we should not bother much about our yes or no AS LONG AS THERE WAS NO MALAFIED INTENTION OR PERSONAL GAIN OUT OF SUCH LIE. We need not feel guilty. Satya Vrata may be possible for All Renounced Yogis but in case of house holders like us we cannot avoid such lapses on our part. As I said earlier, whether it is yogi or bhogi, all have to reach the same place i.e. the Lotus Feet of God Almighty. Some walk, some stumble, some run but everyone will reach, sooner or later.

Anupama garu First I answer your second point. //We can say with the expression of feeling happy for their hospitality mixed up with encouraging words. Can't we..? :)// OK, I agree with your point but conditionally. This I think we can say when the hosts happen to be our friends or close relations. But in case of new people or official parties I think we will be compelled by courtesy (As Gopika ji insists) to say yes in place of no. What do you say? Now your first point: If I knew that he lied to me for the sake of courtesy or just to make me happy, then, Anupama ji, I smile away.
