the system would be strong enough as long as they are self sufficientand economically independent..which is the case with older iim's like a,b,and c..but what is the position of newer ones like lucknow,kozikhode,indore etc..is it possible for them to maintain their autonmy?more than anything else the govt.intevention would be disastrous..is it possible for all the iims to stand together and tide over these kind of hurdles...

the cat paper leak is a manifstation of the extent of depths our value system has plunged into. I am presently studying in IIM Lucknow. I can tell u from the reactions here in IIM Lucknow n in fact all the IIMs that, it has been a really painful thing for all of us. But let me assure u that the system is strong enough to withstand such aberrations..n out of this all we'll see a more fool proof system for cat from next year...hope keeps us afloat.....btw u know what..this is my first posting here in tp.com...have been a passive reader for months now..somehow...cudn't keep quiet on this matter...:-) ..byee n take care.....shekhar
