General Forum: Govt. and Politics | India's Capital on Sewer Bomb | |
| Thanks and you are welcome. You have seen the world and having an intention to show for others is really appreciable.
Most of the countries treating sewage water because:
1. Promotes health ;city is clean and tidy
2. Increased water resources
3. Irrigation improves
4. Landscaping in the cities to make it greenary
In Kuwait it self how many projects are there exactly I don't know but the whole city is Green where the rains are sporadic.

one of the cabbies on one of my outings informed me that with 17 reservoirs, there is absolutetly nothing to worry for the next 5 years in case of emergency here..
in India...though a different matter altogether ,we all should seriously give a thought to these kind of issues...

Posted by: Mr. M Kumar N At: 19, Dec 2003 1:21:47 PM IST Delhi is the historical city famous for tombs. Now famous for bombs. Delhi having 6000 km sewer line running with under capacity STP's. We dont know how many STP's are there and how many cubic meters of sewage is treated and how many cubic meters of treated sewage water is supplied for irrigation. If any one has statistics plz post it.
Presently 22 km sewerline was cleared and it may take another 5 years to clear the remaining hoping that the cleared one will not demand another cleaning process before five years.
This is the story in Delhi? What about other Metropolitan cities and our capital ' HYDERABAD" ?
