| There should be some connection between Tamil & Simghalam?
Sanskrit and Malayalam are similar in nature.Religion and worship does not match.

I buy Mags' statement. But some how... some how I don't like Tamil.
Well, I can't comment on Sanskrit, as I don't know any thing about it, but I surely can say some thing about Tamil(or Tamizh).
It is one of the oldest language, but with heavy restrictions. Highly primitive. Same character may be pronounced with two different sounds etc.
But, they say, that this language is rich... rich in the sense that a single meaning have sevaral words & single word have several meaning.

tamil is the oldest indian language probably other than sanskrit.

Old is gold but not the primitive is. wont my tamil loving friend agree to this? what so special if a language is very ancient while it doesn't hear good nor rich enough in vocabulary/idiom/grammar/metaphor.. ? tamil may be good in its own style but one cannot compare it with sanskrit.

Who said god speaks sanskrit did you ever speak sanskrit to God.

devathala language sanskrit... raakshasulu gurthunnaaraa.. raavanudu .. etc.. SriLanka lone undevaallu kadaa.. vaalla bhaasha tamil.. pakkane undi gaa tamilnadu anduke aaa tamil veellaki abbindi.
